Original Posca acrylic markers on 5x3" illustration board.
Formula 1 in the late 1960's was an intense time in motorsport. With aero foils starting to come into play, never had the cars been faster, or more unique in the search for speed. Here, Bruce McLaren pilots an early iteration of the M7A through Monaco's Casino Square corner. If you look closely you will notice the small wing on the back of the engine covering. My favorite part has to be those huge, aggressive NACA ducts on top of the nose. So cool!
